Photo Blog # 2: Weathering

The object I chose for this post was the old mailboxes at my grandparents' house. While it is not really a geographical feature, it has experienced clear weathering. I would say the main weathering is chemical, as can be seen by the development of rust and the change in color. This likely resulted from water and the sun. As long as these mailboxes are outside, I predict they will continue to experience weathering. However, much of the weathering that can be seen has resulted from past events.
